Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Conduct OPD consultations for gynecological and obstetric patients

• Manage antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care

• Perform normal and assisted deliveries

• Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders and pregnancy-related complications

• Perform gynecological surgeries as per hospital scope (e.g., D&C, hysterectomy, LSCS, etc.)

• Handle gynecological and obstetric emergencies

• Interpret diagnostic reports (USG, lab tests, CTG, etc.)

Patient Care & Safety

• Ensure adherence to standard clinical protocols and NABH guidelines (if applicable)

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records

• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care

• Ensure infection control and patient safety practices
